This Santa Cruz is in very good to excellent condition and has been well maintained throughout the years.
Current owner is a collector and this instrument has had limited play.
Built in the early part of 1997 this Santa Cruz OM Orchestra is very clean and well cared for condition. This model features Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany for the neck, and Ebony for the bridge. A bound fingerboard, and bound head plate add to the final touches. Herringbone purfling adorn the top body rosette and backstrip.
Vintage Kluson-style tuners with metal buttons, LR Baggs pickup with volume control and a Stealth tuner are installed. The tuner is only visible to the player, on the lower treble inside of the sound hole.
This is the perfect instrument for the fingerstyle player in that it is harmonically balanced and has a slightly wider fingerboard at 1.75". Also, for those flat pickers who enjoy a totally balanced instrument

In the 1920’s, the Orchestra Model was originally intended to be a large guitar capable of being heard over other orchestral instruments, hence the OM name.
Although it fit the bill, its relatively large body was soon eclipsed by the mighty dreadnought. Fortunately, the OM had secured its place in history as a powerful and versatile voice for public performance.
Santa Cruz was among the first modern builders to reintroduce this now smaller bodied favorite at the beginning of the Eighties. Our practice of combining the most desirable attributes of old and new, rather than copying, made for a very successful introduction of the Santa Cruz Guitar Company to a whole new audience.
With some irony, this acclaim encouraged the venerable originator of the OM to reintroduce the model to their line. Eric Clapton’s historic performance on the debut of MTV Unplugged set us on a course for another 25 years of success with this now perennial favourite.

RETURNS: Please Note, we will honour the return of an item if for any reason the product was not sold as described. We will just require that you contact the store for an RA Return Authorization within (7) business days of receiving your order.
Your item(s) must be returned with all the original packaging. For returned items,
we will credit you the original amount of your order minus the total shipping cost.
YOU the customer, are responsible for returning the item at your expense.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned; such as, Harmonicas and ALL Opened
accessory items.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
